Doors and drawer fronts define how a kitchen looks and feels. Ours are made to order in Latvia, cut to your measurements and finished in natural wood veneer, painted MDF, linoleum or Fenix NTM. New fronts for the kitchen you already have
Replacing the doors and drawer fronts is the quietest way to transform a kitchen. The cabinets, hinges and runners stay where they are. Only the surfaces you see and touch are renewed.
Every door, drawer front, cover panel, plinth and filler is made to your exact measurements, so lines run true and gaps sit evenly. The result feels built in, never retrofitted. Whether it is a full set of fronts or a few bespoke drawer fronts, each piece is made for your home alone.
Materials and finishes, chosen to last
Natural wood veneer
Real timber veneer in natural, stained, smoked or painted oak, and natural walnut. Each front carries its own grain, so no two kitchens are alike, and it only grows more beautiful with time.
Painted MDF in any NCS colour
A calm, matte surface in any NCS colour. Let it blend tone on tone with the walls, or give an island or a single run of cabinets a colour of its own.
Linoleum and Fenix NTM
Furniture linoleum is deeply matte, soft to the touch and naturally resistant to fingerprints. Fenix NTM is super-opaque and can thermally heal micro-scratches.
Made for IKEA METOD, PAX and other cabinets
Our fronts share IKEA’s drilling patterns, so they fit METOD kitchen and PAX wardrobe frames with the original hinges and drawers. Doors simply click onto the hinges; drawers assemble with a screwdriver.
For cabinets from other makers, fronts are made to your measurements without pre-drilling, leaving your installer to place the hinges and drawer fixings on site.

Sometimes new fronts are not enough. When the layout no longer works, or you are starting from bare walls, we design the whole kitchen from scratch: layout, cabinets, fronts and worktops, shaped around your space and the way you live in it.

Your fronts are made to order in our workshop in Latvia over 4–8 weeks, then delivered to your door in approx. 5 working days. We are happy to help you find an installer nearby.

Can I replace only the doors and drawer fronts and keep my cabinets?
Yes, and it is what we do best. Your cabinet frames, hinges and drawer runners stay in place, while new doors, drawer fronts, cover panels, plinths and fillers are made to your measurements.
Do amadlo fronts fit cabinets that are not from IKEA?
Yes. For IKEA METOD and PAX, our fronts are pre-drilled to IKEA’s own patterns. For other cabinets, we make them to your measurements without pre-drilling, and your installer places the hinges and drawer fixings on site.
Should I choose fronts for IKEA or a fully bespoke kitchen?
Both lead to an amadlo kitchen. Fronts for IKEA METOD pair affordable IKEA cabinet frames with our doors and drawer fronts. A fully bespoke kitchen is designed and made by us from the ground up, for a layout without compromise.
Can my fronts be painted in any colour?
Yes. Painted MDF fronts can be finished in any NCS colour, for a quiet tone-on-tone match with your walls or a considered contrast. Wood veneer, linoleum and Fenix NTM come in their own selection of shades, which you can see on our materials page.
How long does it take to make custom cabinet doors?
Your fronts are made to order over 4–8 weeks in our workshop in Latvia. Delivery to your door then takes approx. 5 working days.
How are the fronts installed?
Doors click onto hinges fixed to the cabinet, and drawers assemble with a screwdriver, so any renovation team can install them. We are happy to help you find an installer nearby. Handle the panels with care during assembly, as our warranty does not cover damage from incorrect installation.
