In this bright apartment kitchen in Āgenskalns, Molto fronts sit alongside oak accents and a Dekton worktop. The design uses restrained front lines and a contrast between smooth surfaces and wood to create a calm composition. If you like this look, start with the front model and finish before choosing the surrounding materials.

The front choices behind the minimalist look
Molto’s rounded corners and integrated handle profile keep the door design visually simple. The oak accents introduce grain and warmth, while the worktop remains a separate material choice. A similar effect can be developed around new cabinets or suitable existing ones, but the required front dimensions and fixings will differ.
- Featured front model: Molto.
- Design details: oak accents and a Dekton worktop.
- Project setting: an apartment in Āgenskalns, Riga.
- Cabinet compatibility: confirm from your own system or drawings.
How to adapt the design to your kitchen
Compare Molto with the plain surface and separate handles of Enkel. Choose the opening detail you prefer to use every day, then consider how the door and drawer divisions align. For a compact room, visible end panels and fillers deserve the same finish planning as the doors.
Review physical samples beside the worktop and flooring. Photos cannot establish an exact paint or stain reference, and daylight can change the appearance of the same finish. Ask about samples before finalising the colour and sheen.
What to include in a fronts-only enquiry
Send the cabinet system or plan, actual front sizes, quantities, opening directions and photographs of the current fittings. List doors, drawer fronts, appliance fronts and visible panels separately. Specify whether you need new hardware, worktop or installation so the quote clearly states the scope.
This bespoke project does not establish IKEA compatibility for the pictured kitchen. If you are using IKEA, identify METOD or FAKTUM before selecting matching parts in the external FrontsForm shop. For custom cabinetry, request a fit check before ordering.
Care and the next step
Follow the selected front and worktop manufacturers’ care instructions. Use cutting boards and suitable heat protection, and wipe spills promptly; the materials should not be treated as scratch-proof or damage-proof.
