Look closely at grain, grooves and edges
Delta’s vertical fluting changes how light falls across the front. Oak veneer adds a second layer of detail through its natural grain. View a sample from the front and side to judge the profile, the edge finish and the tone in your room.
Natural veneer varies between pieces. Discuss grain direction and the relationship between adjacent doors, drawers and cover panels before approving production. A photograph cannot establish an exact stain reference or guarantee identical grain on a new order.
Choosing between oak veneer and a painted finish
Choose veneer when visible wood grain is part of the design. A painted Delta front places more emphasis on colour and the fluted profile. Compare the Delta options and ask which finishes and samples are available for your dimensions.
Follow the care instructions for the selected coating, remove spills promptly and use a soft cloth around the grooves. Avoid assuming that veneer or its finish is immune to standing water, impacts or abrasive cleaners.
Price the fronts you actually need
For a fronts-only quote, send the cabinet system or a drawing, door and drawer-front sizes, quantities, opening directions, photographs and delivery location. List cover panels and fillers separately. Worktop, drawer hardware, cabinets and installation should be identified separately in the scope.
